One week to go
With only a week to go before the Chess Victoria AGM I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the clubs I’ve visited for their hospitality. It has been a fun few months for me getting to know chess clubs again after half a decade absent! It was great to see some familiar faces and particularly good to see the high levels of energy and enthusiasm from both stalwarts and new members. I’m confident the future of chess in Victoria is strong.
Thanks to those who have supported and encouraged me (more than expected!) and to those who will be nominating for Executive Positions alongside me. I look forward to serving all clubs in the coming year, should I be elected, and leave you with a summary of the direction I intend to take CV.
