I have recently sent Chess Victoria a document (CV school teams recommendations) which shows them how to increase their revenue from school-events from $1011 (2009) to around $20,000.

The proposal also offers almost $10,000 to clubs and earmarks some $4000 for junior development; still leaving a tidy profit for Chess Victoria.

I wonder if it will make it to a vote?

Looking forward to the game this afternoon (even if the season ended for Collingwood last week)! Driving around it’s fun to see flags on every car, posters in shop windows, balloons tied to fences and everyone with their scarves and jumpers.
