I have recently sent Chess Victoria a document (CV school teams recommendations) which shows them how to increase their revenue from school-events from $1011 (2009) to around $20,000.

The proposal also offers almost $10,000 to clubs and earmarks some $4000 for junior development; still leaving a tidy profit for Chess Victoria.

I wonder if it will make it to a vote?

Why isn’t this Elite thing a Chess Victoria initiative?

If you’ve been reading my previous posts you’ll pick up straight away how it all works together … clubs obviously need new members, and a lot of that new membership has to come from junior players.
